Eating fresh seafood in Nova Scotia

We were so fortunate that our work recently took us all the way to the East East Coast in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Here’s a mostly unedited look at the highlights of what we ate.

OK, so we didn’t eat these flowers, but how beautiful are they?

It can be a real challenge to get enough fiber in. Which is also why we opted for this mini solution which worked out well, but no frozen fruit would be possible.

This little blender really came in handy. And you cannot beat the price, even for the version in Canada.

This was part of a lobster installation made of ready-to-eat lobster at the amazing Cunard Centre.

We ate a lot of PEI mussels that week. Shout out to the amazing Grand Banker which was so good, we ate there two nights in a row while staying in cute coastal Lunenburg.

A cute way of serving shrimp avocado and tomato that I haven’t seen before.

Nova Scotia Cabot Trail

And no, we didn’t eat this either, but the Cabot Trail was absolutely delightful and not to be missed if you’re lucky enough to find yourself in this part of the world. Nova Scotia really has so much to offer that it’s kind of overwhelming, and that’s coming from someone who lives in what is consistently thought of as one of the most livable cities in the world.
