Cuttlefish ink pasta with seafood (spaghetti al nero di sepia)

Ingredients

  • 1 package black pasta/cuttlefish ink pasta/squid ink pasta
  • 1 pound frozen seafood medley, thawed and drained
  • tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the noodles according to package instructions.
  2. Over medium heat melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan. Add the garlic and stir. Add the white wine and bring to a simmer for about 3 minutes. Add the cream, parmesan, pepper and salt while continuing to stir.
  3. Remove from heat, add in seafood. Toss prepared noodles in sauce and serve immediately.
